I used coconut cake to decorater the cake as the icing.
I also added coconut butter for decoration.
The coconut butter is used to add texture to the cake.

1 cup (250 ml) coconut milk 1 tablespoon coconut oil 3 cups (2 sticks) butter 1 cup white sugar 1/2 cup sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/4 teaspoon salt1 teaspoon baking powder1 teaspoon saltHow to prepare Coconut Cake: In a bowl, stir together coconut milk, coconut butter and coconut oil.
Mix well and set aside.
In another bowl, combine white sugar, sugar, vanilla extract, salt, baking powder and salt.
Add coconut milk mixture to coconut milk and mix well.
Add the coconut flour mixture and mix again.
Add more coconut flour to make a smooth batter.
Make a well in the center of the batter and pour the batter into it.
Sprinkle with coconut sugar, coconut flour and salt and stir.
Make sure to cover the cake well.
Set the cake aside for 5-7 minutes or until the top begins to brown.
Remove the cake from the baking tray.
Cut the cake in half lengthwise and remove the cake pieces.
If you have leftover cake, use the pieces to decorat the cake cake.
You can serve the cake decorated cake with a side of coconut cake.
How to decorately decorate chocolate cake: Melt chocolate and coconut butter in a small saucepan.
Add a little water and cook for about 15 minutes or till the chocolate is completely melted.
Add sugar and stir to dissolve sugar.
Add vanilla extract and mix to combine.
Add baking powder, salt and coconut flakes and stir until smooth.
Add salt, coconut milk ingredients and mix until it all has dissolved.
Heat coconut oil in a pan.
When the oil is hot, pour the chocolate mixture into the oil and heat until the chocolate melts and forms a hard dough.
Allow to cool and then fold in the coconut cake cake, decorating it.
You may need to refrigerate the cake for about 1 hour before you can decorate it again.
When you have finished decorating the chocolate bund, add the coconut cream to the chocolate batter.
This helps the chocolate to spread evenly.
Let the cake cool for about 30 minutes or up to a couple of hours before you are ready to serve it.
Serve decorated chocolate cake and garnish with coconut whipped cream.

Add in the flour and mix for a few seconds.
Add butter and continue to mix until the batter starts to form a stiff dough.
Add lemon juice and vanilla essence and continue mixing for a couple more seconds.
Gently fold in coconut milk.
Add water if necessary.
Mix until well combined.
If the batter is too thick, add more coconut milk or add more flour.
If it is too thin, add coconut cream.
Gather the batter onto a lightly floured surface.
Roll out the dough on a lightly greased surface and flatten out the edges with your hands.
Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for about one hour.
Make the Coconut Buttercream filling: Heat a pan over medium heat.
Add 1/16 cup of butter.
When it comes to a boil, reduce the heat to low.
Cook for 1 minute or until it starts to bubble.
Remove from the heat and let cool.
Make your Coconut Butter Cream filling: Mix the coconut milk with the butter until smooth and creamy.
Add just a few drops of lemon juice to the mixture.
Pour the mixture into a piping bag.
Pipe the coconut whipped topping on the cake or decorating a chocolate cake or a coconut cake decorated in coconut butter.
